Get yourself some popcorn, people. We are now watching a legendary battle over the ‘Suit and Tie’ rants as Justin Timberlake responds to Kanye West’s diss on Saturday Night Live yesterday.
During a Londan performance last week, Kanye West going on a rant about the Grammys he hasn’t won and the commercialization of music today, which also includes “Suit and Tie” that has been used in Budweiser commercials. He said, “I got love for Hov, but I ain’t f***ing with that ‘Suit & Tie.” He further added, “Can I sell your drink for you, please? So you can help me put on a better show, please, corporations? Can you please support me, please? Me, Kanye West? I swear I’m a nice n**** now. I swear I’ll put the pink Polo back on.”
According to our source, Justin Timberlake changed his lyrics for ‘Suit and Tie’ during his performance with Jay-Z on SNL from “Aww, s**t so sick, got a hit and picked up a habit” to “my hit’s so sick got RAPPERS acting dramatic.”
Well, although he didn’t specifically said the rappers’ name, but it was pretty obvious that it was directed at Kanye West, who is the only rapper that disses JT.
