Mulberry Spring Summer 2013 Main Collection
The first arrivals from Mulberry’s Spring Summer 2013 Main Collection is now available in Malaysia. The new collection, inspired by the nostalgia of the 70’s and the posh practicality of the brand’s heritage detailing, introduces a color spectrum of bright neutrals and fresh spring tones for a hazy palette of luscious sorbet colors.
Mulberry’s signature bag styles – The Bayswater, Del Rey, Piccadilly, Alexa and Lily, and the small Del Rey has also been introduced to new nickel hardware as a polished contrast to sumptuous black leather.
The Clemmie is Mulberry’s newest clutch, an elegant oversized hand-held bag made from the softest leathers, finished with the classic Postman’s lock. The Clemmie comes in Black Suede, Black or Dark Blush Glossy Goat Leather and Rose Gold Metallic Snake Print Leather.
Nuugo Spring/Summer 2013 Collection & ‘Nuugo by Dominique Chan’
‘Nuugo by Dominique Chan’ made its debut at Chateau de Caffeinees recently. Nuugo, founded by Koo Kien Keat, top world men’s double badminton player, and June Chang, designer and master of fine thread embroidery and textiles, made an entrance in the local fashion industry with rich prints and a mix of luxurious fabrics with its Spring/Summer 2013 Mens and Womenswear collection.
The theme, Nature’s Candy is inspired by the vibrant world of nature, with the balance of yin and yang, and a burst of dynamic colors and patterns combined with Nuugo’s signature classic touches.
Nuugo’s Spring/Summer 2013 Menswear collection captures a statement of contemporary values, showcasing a reinvention of Nuugo’s signature mens shirts with its unique embroidered Nuugo tag on every shirt. The collection also features a brand new range of muted check and stripe vest.
For casual wear, Nuugo also introduces smart classic polo shirts for both men and women in vivid bright colors and an exquisite cut with strong color palettes inspired by the elements of relaxed summer styles for city style and outdoor pursuits.
‘Nuugo by Dominique Chan’, an exclusive women’s evening wear line also made its debut at the show, featuring tropical floral prints in contrasting exotic shades, flowy silhouettes and lightweight translucent fabrics that mirrors Nuugo’s contemporary tailoring and Dominique’s expressionist style.
