Nothing beats good ol’ retail therapy. The gratification we feel when the cashier hands us our purchases is orgasmic. But with the economy currently in the doldrums, spending lavishly is a bit of a pain, especially when you go to an apparel store hoping to score a few garments, only to leave with tears in your eyes after seeing the price tags. So this is where thrift stores come in handy.
Thrift stores are a growing phenomenon among savvy shoppers, with some spending their weekends thrift-hopping, hoping to discover not only good deals but hidden gems as well. Over the past few years, there’s been a lot of thrift stores mushrooming around Klang Valley – so much so that it’s become difficult to know which store offers the best of the best thrifted items.
