Claudia Schiffer, Kate Upton, Adriana Lima, Paris Hilton and Alessandra Ambrosio have all graced the sexy GUESS campaigns with their smoldering good looks. This time, GUESS has appointed Bollywood star and former Miss World, Priyanka Chopra!
Priyanka’s fabulous new ad campaign was shot by musician and talented photographer Bryan Adams. The ads feature Chopra posing in a series of sultry, retro-inspired photos, looking like a throwback of Sophia Loren.
“Being the next GUESS girl was something that I would have never thought of, but when I met Paul, he was like, ‘You’re it. It has to be you.’ I’m like their first brown model,” Chopra told Women’s Wear Daily . “For a global fashion brand, for them to move their campaign into a global space, for me it’s an honour.”
Paul Marciano, founder of GUESS says that Priyanka’s confidence, strength and sensuality reflects the qualities he looks for in a model. “She reminds me of the young Sophia Loren and the top actresses of the 1950s.
