Much like everyone else last year, I spent 80% of my time working from home, so when I told you guys that I was emotionally and physically drained, I meant it. But the good news is, as we welcome the New Year, my energy levels started to rise again. I feel great (so far), energetic and happier than ever – thanks to my new city.
But if there’s one thing that I’ve learned is that the universe doesn’t promise you the same situation every day. Every day, you will be greeted with different energy levels. So you will need a 101 mood booster to tackle your emotions. There are some activities that are mind-oriented and require no physical energy, activities that exert little energy, and then the ones that demand high levels of energy.
This may sound funny, but the science is real. Getting sunlight (even artificial sunlight) in the eyes first thing in the morning triggers melatonin production 16 hours later, so you’ll naturally feel sleepy when it’s time for lights out at your regular bedtime. So make sure to set your intention straight before you get out of bed.
