Malaysia’s mandopop queen Shila Amzah has finally gotten hitched to the love of her life Haris Idraki Elias! In the 400-guest ceremony at her Cheras home witnessed by close family and friends, the newlyweds were officiated at about 6pm yesterday.
We’re super happy for the couple on their big life milestone, but another important question here is.. Who did the superstar commission for her gorgeous wedding gowns?!
It is none other than her longtime friend and renowned Malaysian muslimah designer Azura Mazaruddin of Azura Couture, whom has worked with her from the very beginning of her singing career.
And guys – There was not one or two, but FIVE stunning garbs designed by Azura Couture for the proceedings of her wedding.
For her Khatam al Quran or al Quran recital, she donned a baby pink gown complete with intricate gold detailing and a grand train.

Our favourite look would have to be the royal blue Indian lehenga inspired gown she wore for her henna night or malam berinai. Talk about opulence!
Her solemnisation was no less impressive. She started off with a white silk kebaya before changing into a baby blue gown with a tulle train. We’re guessing the last gown by Azura Couture will be reserved for her wedding reception later.
The couple got engaged on November 3rd last year, and will hold a wedding reception on 22 April at a renowned hotel in Putrajaya. Guess who’s designing another gown for the reception then? According to Instagram, it’s Melinda Looi!
