K-beauty doesn’t learn from the rest of the world, the rest of the world learns from K-beauty. And while some people may be acceptable to the idea of microblading with pain and a sharp object involved, others aren’t so brave. So, what’s the next best thing for those of them who still want to thicken up their arches? Eyebrow extensions.
Just recently, Vogue Korea posted a video featuring eyebrow extensions on Instagram that has since amassed over one million views and it involves a product called, well, Reallyyy? Eyebrow Extension. The video shows someone crafting a realistic, full-looking brow with this product that looks like a jar of gel mixed with hair trimmings.
Once the magical brow-filling product sets, the ‘hairs’ can even be brushed up yet doesn’t completely flake off. Here’s how you use it: Apply the brow fibers with the thin applicator brush provided according to the direction of your natural hair growth, then wait for it to dry. After it sets, simply brush them through and you’re done.
We’ve gotta admit, more often than not, eyebrows that are filled in with brow powder are less than realistic when up close, and this innovative product is sure as hell going to change the game once and for all. It’s not available for purchase here in Malaysia yet, but hey, South Korea is only seven hours away by flight!
