Pimple-Popping Nails Are A Thing Now, Thanks To Natasha Lee

There’s a new contender for 2017’s most baffling internet beauty trend — Pimple nails — which is becoming a thing now, and we are officially gagging. We’ll give you a second to let that sink in, but then again, hey, you clicked this.

Created by YouTube vlogger Natasha Lee, pimple nails are basically the manicure equivalent of an extremely satisfying Dr. Pimple Popper video, complete with exploding whiteheads.

They’re exactly as gross as they sound — which, of course, makes them perfect for Halloween.

Under a hard coat of nail glue, she used banana hand cream for the “puss” that she so gloriously (and disgustingly) squeezes out. She even adds red nail polish to create the realistic effect of irritation that only an annoying, massive blemish would create. Das great!

Even though this oozing nail creation is obviously just nail polish and hand cream, the subsequent zit-popping still looks disturbingly real. Sure, it’s better for you than popping an actual pimple on your face, but can we all agree to just.. not make this one a trend? Sigh.
