Britain’s royalty Prince Charles, who is the next heir to the British throne, will be visiting Malaysia and Singapore with his wife Camilla during a Southeast Asian tour later in October, and he will be stopping by in Kuala Lumpur before heading to Sarawak, Perak and Penang.
His itinerary includes a gala dinner to commemorate 60 years of diplomatic ties between the UK and Malaysia, and a celebration of the Commonwealth in conjunction with the upcoming Commonwealth Summits that is to be hosted in the UK in 2018 and Malaysia in 2020.
In Sarawak, the royal couple will experience first hand the work done to conserve wildlife and protect biodiversity, aside from meeting people from Sarawak’s indigenous communities. He will also meet with people behind Purple Lily, an NGO that empowers disadvantaged young females and women with life skills training and financial education.
We hope you have a wonderful time here, especially with our glorious food! 😀
