Yaaaasss, it’s time to make big travel plans to the U.S. of A!
In December, AirAsia X expressed its interest of opening travel routes to the USA, and now, it’s safe to say that it’s really happening as AirAsia X has just gotten clearance from the Federal Aviation Authority (FAA) to fly to any destination in the US.
AirAsia X is the first Asian low-cost carrier to secure such an approval and the airline is now considering flights to a few US states, including Hawaii. This is a major milestone for AirAsia X, and for wanderlusters in Malaysia!
News reports suggest that AirAsia X is also looking to resume its London route this summer with direct flights out of klia2, and Frankfurt will also be added to the list of its destinations, but it will be a direct flight out of Bangkok.
