Way to go Perak!
The world’s most prominent travel guide book publisher Lonely Planet recently released its annual Best in Travel list and Perak has been listed under the Top 10 ‘must visit’ regions for 2017.
Perak is ranked number 9 in the list after Taranaki (New Zealand), Choquequirao (Peru), The Azores (Portugal), North Wales (United Kingdom), South Australia, Ayse´n (Chile), The Tuamotus (French Polynesia) and Coastal Georgia (USA). At the number 10th spot was The Skellig Ring (Ireland).
Amongst the listed sites to visit in Perak include Ipoh – previously ranked 6th Best Asian Destination To Visit in 2016 – for its heritage and cafes, as well as the Royal Belum National Park and Pangkor island.
