It’s about time, the Chronicles of Narnia is being revived with a new movie, The Silver Chair.
This was confirmed by TriStar Pictures, who will be teaming up with The Mark Gordon Company , The C.S Lewis Company and eOne. The story, based on C.S Lewis’ 1953 novel, will be adapted to screen by David Magee, who adapted the screenplay for Life of Pi.
Fans have waited over six years since Voyage of the Dawn Treader (2010), the last movie from the Chronicles of Narnia film series.
The Silver Chair tells the story of Eustace’s (played by Will Poulter in the last movie) second trip to Narnia, accompanied by his classmate Jill Pole. After running from bullies at school, the two find themselves in Narnia, where Aslan tasks them with finding and rescuing the missing Prince Rillian, son of King Caspian and the rightful heir to the Narnian throne.
