Back in the early 1960s, the “Diana” camera was a cult legend, famous for its dreamy, radiant, lo-fi images. It was originally created in Hong Kong, crafted entirely of plastic. And yes, that meant that the “Diana” was super cheap.
Avant-garde and lo-fi photographers absolutely loved it! Its soft and dreamy images, super-saturated colors, unpredictable blurring, and random contrast created masterpieces after masterpieces. It was as though every raw and gritty shot had a character of its own that simply cannot be duplicated by any other camera on Earth!
Many years later, the beautiful “Diana” was picked up by analogue photographer wizards, Lomography, and was rebuild from ground up (with a few extra tossed in). In 2007, the “Diana F+” was born. It still retains the Diana’s original charms (radiant color-dripping lens, soft-focus surprises, all-plastic body, dead-simple shutter) but it also boasts brand new “Pinhole” and “Endless Panorama” features.
Oh please, do stop for a while to take a few deep breaths. It is phenomenal, we know.
