A 30-year old Malaysian girl who has always dreamed of running her own business started selling curry-puffs in Nanning, China, and people are going crazy over it!
The restaurant, humbly named “The Mamak Stall”, sells only 100 curry puffs a day, causing Chinese locals to queue up for hours so they don’t miss out on this Malaysian delicacy.
Apart from curry puffs, “The Mamak Stall” also sells other popular Malaysian dishes derived from Malaysian Chinese, Malay, Indian and Nyonya cuisines.
Huang, founder of the “The Mamak Stall’ restaurant, opened her first outlet in June last year, recently opened a second one last August. She says her business is continuing to flourish, and she might even make “The Mamak Stall” a retail chain.
Well, Huang certainly proved that Malaysia, indeed, Boleh! You go girl 🙂
