This Exercise Bike Works Like No Other

So… you’ve a pile of laundry waiting to be done and you’ve already skipped your workout yesterday.. These are the times where you wish there were more hours in a day.

But what if we tell you, you can kill two birds with one stone? Students at the Dalian Nationalities University in China introduced a brilliant concept of being able to do your laundry while working out!

Imagine a stationary bike, those bikes that you use at your spinning class, that doubles as a washing machine, so you can wash your clothes while burning some calories.

“When you ride this bike, the pedalling motion causes the drum of the washing machine to rotate,” the students wrote on design site Tuvie. “At the same time, superfluous electricity is generated, which can be used to power the display screen or stored for future use.”

Bummer that it’s only a design concept that probably won’t make it to production soon but we’d sign a petition to make this dream come true anytime because who doesn’t love the idea of saving so much time?
