Ben Stiller, Owen Wilson, Penelope Cruz and Will Ferrell all turned the red carpet into a runway as they strutted in as their characters from the upcoming, highly-anticipated movie, Zoolander 2. Also present was screenwriter Justin Theroux, who dressed as his evil character, the Evil DJ.
At this exclusive, runway-style premiere of Zoolander 2, Ben was seen rocking a sporty green suit with polka dots, Owen Wilson in a space-themed outfit and Ms. Cruz was smoking hot in a black ensemble, with high waisted shorts, suspenders and knee-length boots, teamed with a fierce walk.
“Um, well that was Derek, that wasn’t me,” Stiller told PEOPLE magazine, when asked if he channeled his on-screen alter ego. “When Derek is out there, it isn’t me and he channels something from higher, you know? It’s just like a pure inner beauty that he channels that I can’t take any responsibility for.”
Apart from members of the casts, top models Gigi Hadid and Irina Shayk were also spotted at the star studded event. To top it off, Skrillex was DJing the whole event!
“We just dove right in and it was fantastic. We had such a great time with it,” Ferrell shares with PEOPLE.
Zoolander 2 hits theaters on February 12, and we can’t wait!
