Let us all gather and say farewell to MyTeksi and a big warm welcome to Grab! No worries, guys. They’re just rebranding! Grab’s services will include taxi (GrabTaxi), private car services (GrabCar), motorcycle taxis (GrabBike), carpooling (GrabHitch) and last mile delivery (GrabExpress) all under one company.
The newly designed Grab app has features that is light, user-friendly and is focused to provide you with faster access to ride bookings; the two-click bookings, auto-retry, live driver tracking, GrabPay and not to mention… the new ‘Flash’ feature that will help you search for taxis that are closest to where you are located.
The ‘Flash’ button will be available in Malaysia on 30th January, so do keep an eye out for that! As for business and corporate companies, GrabWork is a business-friendly feature for working professionals to help you with tracking and expense claims purposes. You can find more information about GrabWork here.
As icing on the cake, Grab will be holding a Grab Freedom Day where Grabbers and the management team will be a driver throughout the whole day. Wait, that’s not the best part! Passengers get to ride for free and the value of your ride will be donated to charities across the region, as for an example, all the beneficiary made from passengers in Malaysia will be donated to Mobility Association of Selangor and Kuala Lumpur. Grab Freedom Day in Malaysia will be held on 30th January. Don’t forget to participate for a good cause!
