McDonald’s Malaysia is calling all Malaysians to ‘Show Your Stripes’ for children’s charity ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) Malaysia. The campaign was launched yesterday in line with the upcoming Children’s Day celebration on November 7th. ‘Show Your Stirpes, #DemiRMHC I’m For The Kids” is a fund-raising campaign that Malaysians can support by purchasing a pair of striped socks at McDonald’s restaurants nationwide.
The campaign aims to reinforce McDonald’s commitment of giving back to society in helping children have the best possible. With this campaign, they aim to raise an additional half a million ringgit to support RMHC’s goals that have benefitted over 20,000 children and families to date.
RMHC has four core programmes; Ronald McDonald House which provides a home away from home for families of children undergoing medical treatment, Ronald McDonald Gift of Smile which provides corrective surgery and follow up treatments for children born with cleft lip/palate, the Ronald McDonald Sensory Room which supports children with delayed mental development and the Ronald McDonald Scholarship which provides financial support to secondary school students from low income families who excel in their studies.
The campaign, ‘Show Your Stripes, #DemiRMHC – I’m For The Kids’ will launch nationwide on the 7th of November 2015 and you can support the campaign by getting a pair of socks for RM10 at all McDonald’s restaurants.
