To celebrate Yahoo’s 18th anniversary this month, the company is introducing their new Yahoo Mail app. The app will be available on iOS for iPhone’s and iPads as well as on android. The app comes with many features including smarter search, contacts management and rich compose.
Yahoo Mail users will be able to connect and manage e-mail accounts from several different providers such as, Outlook.com, Hotmail and AOL Mail all from one app. Other than this, the new app uses the Yahoo Account Key, amore secure and simple alternative to passwords. Yahoo Account Key allows users to access their Yahoo accounts with a top of a button.
Yahoo Mail allows photos to be linked to Twitter, Linkedin and Facebook and they have also teamed up with Flickr to bring better Avatar photos incase you don’t want to upload your own. The app also makes use of easy shortcuts such as swiping right to mark a message as read and left to delete the message. Long presses allows you to select more than one message and to move or delete them all at once, if you make a mistake you can click undo.
The app makes use of simplicity and easy to use features.
