MBO Cinemas is hosting a nationwide blood donation drive with the help of St John Ambulance of Malaysia and the National Blood Centre to give back to the community. Taking place at 25 MBO Cinemas outlets nationwide on 31 October and 1 November 2015, trained personnel from St John Ambulance of Malaysia will be on hand to assist the staff from the National Blood Centre.
Last year, MBO Cinemas’ collaboration with St John Ambulance of Malaysia managed to collect 2,168 bags of blood under the tagline 1 Pint Saves 3 Lives and that donation drive has helped over 6,000 people. This year, their expected target is to reach 5,000 pints of blood at the Blood Donation Drive 2.0. So, let’s come together as a community to support this good cause.
To show their appreciation, MBO Cinemas will also donate RM10,000 to St John Ambulance of Malaysia as a token of appreciation for their support and assistance. The sponsors for this event include Permanis Sandilands, Pizza Hut Restaurant, Caring Pharmacy, NewVos, Mundipharma and Good Morning Global.
Apart from saving lives, blood donors will receive a free cinema ticket, limited edition movie merchandise, food, drinks and pharmaceutical gifts all in a goodie bag! Be at any of MBO Cinemas’ locations on 31 October and 1 November 2015 from 12pm to 6pm to take part.
