The Body Shop has been around for a long time and there’s a reason why customers stay loyal to this brand. One of the main and most important reasons being the fact that their products work. The other reason would be their strong stance against animal testing. Who couldn’t stay faithful to a beauty brand that’s an advocate to nature? Definitely not me, that’s for certain. One of my favourite skincare range from The Body Shop would have to be the Vitamin E collection.
Every single product does its best to deliver the promise it makes to your skin. Read on to find out how some of the products from the Vitamin E range worked with my skin and why you should also give them a try!
Gentle Facial Cleansing Wipe
Before I begin washing my face and get into my usual routine, I wipe off any excess makeup or impurities on my face with these cleansing wipes. They’re so easy to use and are not at all harsh on the skin. By the way, they’re are also perfect to have in your handbag for post-workout cleansing or just to quickly remove your makeup.
Gentle Face Wash
I usually begin my daily skincare routine with this trusted product. Having sensitive skin makes it hard for me to simply use any brand but with The Body Shop’s Vitamin E Gentle Face Wash, my face immediately looked better and skin certainly felt softer. Not only does it smell great but the creamy texture of this face wash keeps skin feeling moisturised. This one doesn’t dry out my skin and turn it into the Sahara Desert, like a lot of face wash I have tried in the past.
Hydrating Toner
Some toners have this slight burning feel when applied on to the face but not this baby. After cleansing my face with the Gentle Face Wash, I usually soak a cotton pad with the Hydrating Toner and gently sweep it all around my face. At the end of the use, my skin always feels refreshed and smooth. I especially love the soothing effect it leaves on my skin.
Moisture Cream
Some creams tend to be very thick and heavy on the skin but this one from The Body Shop’s Moisture Cream is very lightweight yet still provides the intense moisture that your skin needs.
Eyes Cube
I personally love this product from the Vitamin E range of skincare. All it takes is one gentle sweep on the eyes and immediately my eye area feels refreshed and revived. The Eyes Cube also helps in fighting signs of tiredness that’s caused by lack of moisture around the eyes. Packed with wheatgerm oil, this product helps keep the eye area moisturised and me looking less like a racoon.
Overnight Serum-In-Oil
For my nighttime routine, I usually end it with this little bottle of wonder. This product by The Body Shop combines the best of both world, serum and oil, which leaves your skin feeling brand new and actually looking it when you wake up in the morning. Even though it’s part oil, this serum is not greasy and has no problem absorbing into the skin.
