It was a night of precious designs and stylish Asian stars – a celebration of Giorgio Armani’s creations. The event “One Night Only In Beijing” was held recently at the New Tank in Beijing’s 798 Art District.
The highlight of the evening was a unique fashion show presenting an edited version of the 2012/2013 Autumn/Winter Emporio Armani and Giorgio Armani collections for men and women; as well as the 2012 Spring/Summer Giorgio Armani Privé collection – including 15 new creations in honour of the host country, China.
US artist Mary J Blige performed live at the party and the evening was completed with a DJ set by DJ Jesse Marco from New York.
Shu Qi, Emporio Armani face for Asia, selected a white Giorgio Armani bustier dress with generous skirt drawn in at the hem, embroidered with glitter sequins.
Chinese ballerina Tan Yuanyuan (left) wore a Giorgio Armani black sequined evening dress. It’s a simple and chic look. Michelle Yeoh (right) selected a Giorgio Armani Privé mermaid dress with flounces in silver-coloured lamé tulle. Doesn’t she look absolutely flawless?
