Towards that end, Watsons recently launched a holistic drive to promote healthy and active lifestyles, which included bringing back Malaysia’s biggest Zumba event! Driving the message ‘Stay Healthy with Watsons’, the drive is to encourage all Malaysians to adopt a healthy diet and active lifestyle in managing their day-to-day activities.
According to Caryn Loh, Managing Director, Watsons Malaysia, Watsons aims to promote healthier lifestyle messages by offering a holistic support system. The awareness of the importance of practicing a healthy regimen and hygienic habits is a key takeaway, and Watsons is taking this as part of its community offering to provide the best in health products and services.

Watsons customers can also enjoy complimentary consultations when visiting Watsons’ pharmacy or virtually on the Watsons Mobile app. Consultations include healthcare, drug usage and safety, as well as the right to use medical equipment. On top of that, other free services include blood pressure readings; health, body and weight assessment; blood glucose tests, and other health consultation services including quitting cigarette smoking habits, hair loss treatments and contraception management consultations which are available at all Watsons health stores nationwide.
Caryn also stated that Watsons is giving its customers and members a convenient choice when it comes to dealing with health concerns. Through the mobile app, any health inquiry can be attended to easily. Recently, Watsons also launched its Virtual Health Consultation, which is available on the Watsons mobile app. With the eHealth service, customers can chat with licensed and trusted doctors through virtual medical consultations via the eDoctor system; and eventually receive an electronic prescription and collect prescribed medication at a customer-selected Watsons Pharmacy store. In addition, the ePharmacist service allows customers to ask any of Watsons’ pharmacists on duty about general health concerns and product inquiries.

Watsons member can also enjoy Health 45+, an added value for members aged 45 and above, who can enjoy special privileges such as 5% discounts for vitamins and a special 10% discount on dispensaries or pharmacy items.
Watsons is also promoting “staying a healthy” message through its digital effort with ‘Stay Healthy TV’, available on the Watsons Malaysia YouTube channel, where monthly digital content with specific themes is curated. The content includes healthy recipes, exercises, demonstrations and pharmacist recommendations. The Healthy Eating segment includes more than 50 healthy recipes from Nutrabliss by Watsons, where the objective is to inspire customers and members to enjoy great food in a healthy and fun way.
During the launch, Watsons Malaysia also revealed the return of Watsons Get Active Fest – Malaysia’s biggest Zumba party which will take place on 15th October 2022 at Surf Beach Sunway Lagoon!
