Are you one of those impromptu travelers? If you are then this is one app you would want to have on your phone! Travel site Hopper launched the Flight Tonight app “to help runaways, outlaws and impulse travelers find the best last-minute flight deals from their city.”
According to travel industry veteran Timothy O’Neil-Dunne, there are many reasons last-minute flight deals are not as obvious for the travel industry as other forms of transportation.
Even though the app looks for deals, the prices are unlikely to be better than those available far ahead of departure. But, as Hopper highlights, sometimes you just really, really need to get away.
Flight Tonight is currently available for iOS 7 only.
