In an effort to spotlight the plight of stray animals in our community, Pawse For A Cause returns to our shores on 29 July with its annual charity carnival at Desa Park City, aimed to raise funds for pet non-profits and educate the public on the Animal Welfare Act which will take effect soon.
Both public and corporate donors are invited to participate in this event, which will be lined with a series of engaging and entertaining activities. The fundraiser targets to raise RM100,000 in cash and kind, and all proceeds will be evenly distributed amongst deserving pet welfare beneficiaries nationwide.
Together with United International Pictures, the animal welfare fundraising initiative celebrated its launch with the premiere of A Dog’s Purpose, a movie that deeply resonates with the organisation’s mission. An all-day pet adoption drive will also be held during the event for animal lovers looking to add to their household.
