If you’re looking for a place to have a fancy meal, enjoy some drinks and to dance the night away, head to Bankers Room to fulfill your every indulgent wish. Located above the Conlay Club in Jalan Kia Peng, Bankers Room is an ideal place for dining, relaxing and partying. If you’re worried about parking spaces, don’t fret as parking spots are aplenty.
When we entered its doors, we were instantly charmed by the classy ambience and stylish decor of the place. If you want to have corporate functions or big parties at Bankers Room, the venue’s 8,000 square feet of functional floor space would surely suffice as it can accommodate up to 300 pax.
What we love most about the place is the cosy and comfortable lounge that’s the perfect spot to spend sipping on our favourite drinks or to hang with some of our friends. If you want to let loose, its in-house DJs spin their magic from 11pm onwards weekly to entertain those who want to go wild on the dance floor.
The gastronomical delights put together by their resident Executive Chef, Candy Han also sets the restaurant apart. Combining elements of European and Asian cuisine, diners can choose from the array of dishes available from their extensive menu. Bankers Room is also open for lunch and high-tea, which also makes it accessible for corporate nine-to-fivers in the vicinity.
Last month, we were very lucky to have been invited to Bankers Room to celebrate its Grand Opening over a three-day exclusive preview. We were served a delightful dinner from a specially put-together menu, featuring some of the best of what the restaurant has to offer. Aside from that, we were also introduced to different food pairings with a selection of wines and spirits to complement our food.
We also witnessed fashion shows from some of the city’s hottest designers with Key Ng and Nigel Chia hosting on the first day, followed by Beatrice Looi and Vinie Tee on the second day and Justin Yap, Hayden Koh and Keith Kee Couture featuring their collections on the final day.
To finish off the night, we were then entertained by a few guest DJs spinning some of the hottest tracks till the wee hours of the morning. Pussy Catz performed on the first day, sexy Cecibabe from Hong Kong on the second day and Alexis G spinned on the final day.
