Natural Beauty: How to Accept Your ‘Flaws’ Confidently

Would you believe it if we told you that no one cares about your appearance as much as you do? The entertainment industry has done a lot to project their idea of a standard beauty – a perfect tiny waistline, pouty lips, perfectly smooth hair and legs that could go on for miles. While we celebrate women and their achievements, we also want women around the world to celebrate their natural beauty. Whether it’s a mole, big curly hair or even a scar on your face, these are the things that make you truly unique. And let’s face it – just about every woman out there complains about not being ‘beautiful’ enough, even the gorgeous ones.

Declare Your Beauty
Declaring something about ourselves is the best way to change something negative. Whether it’s your thunder thighs, stubby toes, your humble breast size, every woman should understand that everyone’s made differently to be unique, and isn’t being unique something to be proud of. So go update your Facebook status to “My [flaws] are fabulous”.

Don’t Change Because He/She Tells You So
The road to self-acceptance starts by being confident in yourself, and if you find yourself constantly changing you looks or personality to impress someone, you’re doing it all wrong. Criticism like that would only lead you to a path to self-destruction.

Be With People Who Accept You
No matter how much we accept ourselves the way we are, there’s always someone we wished we could impress. But if you are with a group of people who accept you just the way you are, you’ve really gotten one of the best deals anyone could ever ask for.

There Are Far Worst Things in the World
If you feel you’re overweight, look at yourself in the mirror, and tell yourself “There are much worst things in the world that being fat”, or end it with whatever your flaw might be. Everyone woman should know that it’s not the end of the world if your hair’s frizzy, or that you have acne. We all dismiss the concept of health when vanity is involved, so instead of complaining about how your nose always gets in the way, take a walk outside and see the world in a different perspective.

Always Look on the Bright Side
When it comes to having something better like boobs, for example. A lot of women fantasize about being endowed with a bigger cup size, but do you know what a lot of busty women go through – back aches and the constant struggle of finding the right bra. As Mick Jagger once suggested, “you can’t always get what you want”, but you can always flaunt the goods you have happily.
