Yeap, we’re all guilty of these Instagram clichés somehow or rather, but who knew that peace sign selfies, bath time leg photos, and latte art were that overdone?
On top of all that, the world clearly took after the famous #followmeto couple and depicted their own versions of the photo series, albeit with less awe-inspiring scenes compared to the original.
Well, Vimeo user and artist Hiérophante decided to gather some of the most popular Instagram clichés and put them all in one mesmerising video to put things into perspective.
The artist writes, “I took advantage of our tendency to be unoriginal on social media to make this animation. Everything from images search to editing is made ‘by hand’ without any automated software.”
Then again, “Some people point[ed] out to me that some [similar] videos already exists, so it seems that making a video about clichés is a cliché too,” Hierophante writes.
