Google has released yet another animated Doodle and this time, it’s to mark the shortest day of the year.
It shows two little children building a snowman with their mother and Father Christmas.
First, Santa shows up with a shovel to help the children. Then, the mother comes along to complete the snowman with a carrot for its nose.
This Doodle has also become a hit on social media.
Winter Solstice officially marks the beginning of winter, with it being the shortest day and longest night of the year.
Here at home, Winter Solstice is a great tradition for some Malaysians. Besides celebrating togetherness and being with family, families also come together to make tang yuan, which are glutinous rice balls, symbolizing reunion.
These glutinous rice balls are sometimes stuffed with various filling and are often served in a sweet broth as a dessert.
