Getting Your Daily Dose of Omega 3

Yesterday we talked about how Omega 3 can help you lead a better life ; health and mental wise. We listed down the goodness here so if you are convinced , here is how you can get Omega into your diet and have fun with your meals!

Flaxseed oil is rich with Omega 3. You can consume it in many ways. Get flaxseed oil or the seed itself and sprinkle some goodness onto your salad, toast or smoothies.


Incorporating more seafood into your diet helps too, mainly the likes of salmon and tuna. If price is a factor, feel free to make yourself a delicious sardine sandwich and indulge. Sardine is also a good source of Omega 3 and we Malaysians love our sardines.

Nuts such as almond and walnuts are also highly recommended. Just a handful a day fulfils your Omega 3 needs, and they make such healthy snack you should keep some available when you are feeling peckish.

Mummy was onto something when she said eat your greens! Vegetables like broccoli and cauliflower are perfect complements to your soup or pasta , not to mention the Omega 3 benefit that comes with them.

The new century is filled with short cuts , so you can also head over to your closest pharmacy and get yourself some fish oil pills or flaxseed oil pills. Just pop a few throughout the day with your meals and you should be covered.

With so many choices, it is bizarre to learn that most grown adults are lacking Omega 3, leading to so much health problems. Start today because health it wealth and Omega 3 is your lottery ticket!
