HBO finally dropped the official trailer for the next season of Game of Thrones and it looks OUTSTANDING. The first real look of GoT teases a “Great War” that might just bring all the main characters into the same place as the seventh season raises the stakes of wars between the kingdoms.
The footage suggests that Cersei Lannister and Daenerys Targaryen will cross paths while Jon Snow faces the threat of White Walkers. It also drops hints about the fates of characters like Jaime, Jorah and Arya.
Season seven of GoT will be a mere eight episodes and season eight unfurls in only seven episodes, which means the writers will speed the plot along to wrap everything up. Either way, 16 July needs to get here real fast.
