Yessssss! We’ve got an update from Grab that GrabCar is removing the minimum fare of RM7 for every short-distance ride of less than 5km, effective from April 18th 2016. The base fare has been lowered to RM1, and here’s how it works:
This means that you can now travel the last mile from the LRT to the office, or head out for lunch at a nearby restaurant, or even go to the nearest mall for a whole lot less!
You have an option of making payment via credit/debit card, and this cashless payment option will boost convenience for the drivers and also the riders.
