We are already more than amazed with the advanced technologies that allows us to do so many impossibles in our life. But now our mind is just blown away with the invention of 3Doodler, a pen that allows us to draw and print them in 3D sculpture!
The creators behind 3Doodler, Peter Dilworth and Max Bogue are both the co-founders of an emerging toy and robotics company, WobbleWorks. As their mission is to create affordable toys with cutting edge design that inspire and delight the customer all over the world, it is no wonder they came up with this awesome idea of designing a 3D printing device that could be used within in minutes without any complicated process.
As long as you can doodle or draw your design in the air, you can create your own 3D objects at instant! The pen uses a 3mm ABS or PLA plastic as its ‘ink’ that comes out of the pen and solidifies right in front of you. However, the 3Doodler is not a toy for children as the pen itself has a metal tip that can get as hot as 270 degree Celcius. Hence, it is important not to touch the tip when in use as safety always comes first.
