You would know by now that our Malaysian sweetheart Yuna recently tied the knot with the love of her life, Adam Sinclair. While we weren’t fortunate enough to be at her gorgeous nuptials, the photos posted everywhere were enough to prove that it was nothing but perfect.
With that said, a fashion critic on Instagram with an account that goes by the handle @i_knowfashion thought that one of Yuna’s wedding gowns, put together by none other than Malaysian fashion designer Hatta Dolmat, was “passé and soooooo 3 years ago,” adding that the design of the dress is overdone.

Still in the wedding mood and it's Yuna during her majlis bertandang on Adam's side. She was wearing an evening dress by Hatta Dolmat . First of all, I'm not saying the dress isn't beautiful. BUT, this evening dress with extension fabric at the side is a passé and soooooo 3 years ago. I've seen it countless times on celebrities and hijabis brides . You can go to any wedding boutiques out there and trust me, you can find this kinda of dress hanging on the rack . I'm surprised that this comes from Hatta Dolmat, a renowned designer. He should be setting a new trend and not following the existing one. Plus, it's Yuna we're talking about here 🤦🏽♀️ . And oh, the 31-year-old singer-songwriter whose real name is Yunalis Mat Zara’ai clapped back alright! And in the most savage way possible no less. She commented on the aforementioned photo collage of her wedding gown:
She also took the time to defend the renowned Hatta Dolmat, saying, “have you seen how Hatta lost sleep and how he worked?” She then pressed for the owner behind the Instagram account to attest his fashion know-how to the world by putting up his/her own work. The lesson here? Don’t freakin’ mess with Yuna. Period.
