Spotted any purple trucks on the street lately? If you have, it’s the Cadbury Dairy Milk’s Joy Truck. Road commuters around the nation were delightfully surprised when the Joy Truck first made its debut through the busy streets of Penang, Johor Bahru and Klang Valley.
Drivers and passengers will have the chance to catch a glimpse at the Joy Truck once it unveils and become a stage for dance performances and a spectacular magic show. Promoters will also be walking around to hand out free Cadbury Dairy Milk chocolates for drivers and passengers to enjoy!

“Cadbury Dairy Milk is all about multiplying the joy and we are always looking at new ways to engage with Malaysians. After our successful Happiness Taxi surprise last March, we received a lot of interest from our loyal consumers asking about what’s next from Cadbury Dairy Milk. So we brought out the Joy Truck! We were inspired by our current television commercial of finding joy during traffic jams and made it a reality. If you’re stuck in a jam, unwrapping a bar of Cadbury Dairy Milk is a moment of happiness. We’re happy to bring a little more joy to the nation!” said Toby Smart, Senior Brand Manager of Cadbury Dairy Milk Malaysia.
The Cadbury Dairy Milk Joy Truck will be traveling on the busiest roads around Peninsular Malaysia over the next few weeks from 10 July between 4.30pm to 9.00pm. The Joy Truck debuted in Penang before heading down south to Klang Valley and straight ahead to Johor. The full schedule is as below:
