It’s kind of a disgrace, but some girls on Tumblr are celebrating each other’s victories and talking about the things they have stolen. Get this – they even call them “hauls.”
There is a whole community of shoplifters online and one Tumblr page admin even said when noticing that other people were reblogging their hauls, “i just realized that the post called us tumblrs bling ring and i’m even more flattered. i’m famous. for free.”
This community would share tips on how to get away with shoplifting, suggestions of tools to get rid of security devices, lists of place that are easy to shoplift from, and more. Fragrances, makeup, clothes, shoes and books seem to be popular items to be shoplifted.
Of course, they proudly showcase their shoplifted hauls in flatlays, detailing the breakdown of costs and total damage since the day they first started shoplifting.
