Known as natural beauty elixer, flowers contain therapeutic properties that not only provide nourishment to the skin but also moisturise and balance oil production to maintain skin vibrancy.
In Mamonde’s latest cleansing line, the cosmetics brand have discovered three flowers that offer power cleansing action while delivering floral goodness to the skin — Lotus Flower, Damask Rose and Iris.
Lotus Flower contains a natural exfoliator known as the natural alpha-hydroxy acid which can help in removing dead skin cells and minimise blackheads. The flower, seed (antioxidant properties) and root (nourishment properties) of lotus flowers are key ingredients in formulating its extract.
This has resulted in the birth of an effective facial cleansing line which includes the Micro Cleansing Foam (RM59), Micro Lip & Eye Remover (RM45), Micro Cleansing Oil Tissue (RM59), Micro Cleansing Oil (RM89) as well as the all-new Micro Mask to Foam (RM59).
Damask Rose Oil contains 20 times more vitamin A than tomatoes and 17 times more vitamin C than lemons and it has excellent moisturising power. The element has been scientifically proven to be one of the strongest bactericide which is known to prevent and minimise acne-causing bacteria.
It is used in Mamonde’s Petal Spa Cleansing Line which features two products, Petal Spa Cleansing Oil (RM89) and Petal Spa Oil to Foam (RM59).
The Iris is a winter flower that is packed with anti-aging and skin-soothing properties. On top of the excellent anti-bacterial cleansing power, it also contains isoflavones which gives a healthier complexion as well as remove excess oil from skin.
Mamonde uses Iris extracts in their Triple Multi Cleanser (RM49) which is blended with beta-carotene (vitamin A) for skin revitalisation.
