Oh boy, did we enjoy ourselves! With a selection of their latest cocktail menu called Sparkling, it was an unforgettable taste adventure!
Awakening
We started off with a non-alcoholic cocktail, presenting the Awakening – a combination of hazelnut syrup, ginger ale and crushed ice. This is a great thirst quencher on a hot sunny day! It’s not too sweet and the flavours work great together, oh and it’s super addictive!
LM-Beauty
Next up! Introducing the LM-Beauty – a concoction of aloe vera syrup, Cointreau, blueberries and sparking wine. It took us a while to get used to the taste of this cocktail. I think the reason is because, we are so used to the sweet aftertaste of a sparkling wine that we genuinely expected that. The aftertaste of each sip was a tad too bitter for me but overall, it was easy on the palette and the alcohol content was just right.
Sparx
The last and final cocktail, the Sparx – a concoction of cucumber juice, Monin orange liqueur, sparkling wine and red bull. Before you get put off from the cucumber juice, it was surprisingly good! Super refreshing, smooth and easy on the palette. The flavours compliment each other beautifully. Definitely a must-try!
Gastro also provides delicious alternatives like finger food and tapas for those who would like to have a light meal over drinks. And the best part about having a meal at Gastro is that everything on the menu is nett price! That’s right, nett price!
