Does your finger get tired from pressing the screen for minutes when watching a story on Snapchat? Well, that’s about to change. Snapchat just announced that they’re completely changing the way you view snaps and stories.
Snapchat is introducing “Tap to View”. All you have to do is tap on a snap to watch the entire thing. If you want to skip a snap in a story, you can tap on the screen once again to make it go away. If you want to stop watching completely, you have to drag your finger down on the screen to close it. This clearly takes a little getting used to, but we trust that it will be worth it.
Besides that, Snapchat will let you add friends by location. If everyone in a group opens the Add Nearby function simultaneously, everyone’s names will pop up on screen so you can add them conveniently. You can also customise your little ghost icon so that people will see a cute animation of your face when they pull up your username.
All the more reasons to use Snapchat! 😀
