For Spring/Summer 2015, PUMA collaborates with one of the most prolific sneaker designers and top influencers in the world of sneakers, Ronnie Fleg. The collection has now hit Malaysian stores and features the R698 silhouette.
The collaboration acknowledges PUMA’s performance heritage enhanced with updated execution of colour and materials, transforming into a modern classic.
This time, the R698 takes inspiration from the Japanese cherry blossoms, or sakura. The distinctive deep reds of the cherry trees are infused across the rich perforated suede of the toe and the midsole of the R698. The colours continue to fade into lighter shades of pink to symbolise the various colours of the sakura.
