As part of the iconic doll’s 55th birthday, Barbie is throwing a series of the best play dates of the year across Malaysia. Mothers and daughters are invited to rekindle their love for imaginative play at Barbie’s Day Out!
Imaginative play is a style of play whereby children engage in role-playing of real life experiences in imaginative settings. This style of play is crucial in the cognitive and social development of children.
Barbie encourages children to explore the world by showing them that anything is possible. Barbie’s Day Out will allow the children to unleash their imaginations, while providing a context for parents to engage with their children and explore the endless possibilities of creative play.
Barbie’s Day Out play dates will be taking place in selected shopping malls across Malaysia in August and September:

Children and parents attending Barbie’s Day Out will be treated to an array of exciting activities, such as a meet and greet with Barbie, storytelling sessions by Lorna Whiston Academy at selected play date locations, playtime with a fully-assembled Barbie Dreamhouse, colouring activities and more. There will also be a photobooth!
The Barbie’s Day Out photo contest also gives participants a chance to take home the exclusive Barbie play set.
