Designed by Israeli industrial designer Daniela Bekerman, this has probably got to be the best modular shoe design to hit the fashion industry. In Hebrew, “Ze o Ze” means “this or that”. And frankly, it seems like it’s better suited for women who are always on the go (read: from office to business meetings) or are avid business travelers/frequent flyers but prefer packing light.
It also works well for, say, if you‘re going on a girls’ night out and you think you’ve finally nailed the perfect outfit but, lo and behold, someone else wears the exact same pair of shoes that you’ve got on your feet. At times like that, it’s too late you change your shoes and for sure, you don’t have your entire shoe collection at hand. What do you do?
“Ze o Ze” allows you to transform your heel attachments that will immediately give you (and your new outfit a new look in a snap. You can even try on different attachments to suit your ensemble! Best of all, these shoes can transform from flats to pumps in a matter of seconds. Imagine, ballet flats for running around in the office and then suddenly, a pair of “Mary Jane” kitten-heeled pumps the next.

Best of all, because of the minimal use of components (as compared to say, if one would produce five pairs of different whole shoes) Do we not love how the purchase of a single shoe would give us four other interchangeable options to this, or that? We absolutely adore it!
