A lot of us are often concerned about the way we look. We see our flaws more than other people would and we think that our flaws say more about us.
Dove recently released a new video on YouTube called ‘Real Beauty Sketches‘ that concluded that women are their own worst beauty critics. In the video, Gil Zamora – an FBI trained artist sketches the faces of each seven women without seeing them. He sketches them twice of which he draws them based on their own description of what they look like. For the second sketch, he draws them based on the descriptions of a stranger.
This video is truly inspiring and heartwarming. We are pleased to have the chance to share it with you.

To our surprise, the sketches showed that women paid more attention to their flaws, rather than what’s beautiful about them. Another person seems more of the beautiful traits of another woman’s features rather than how big their jawline is, or how many scars they have on their face. Real people, real stories – way to go, Dove.
