It’s that time of year again and Carlsberg is back with their Carlsberg’s “Where’s The Party?”. If you haven’t already know, this is an exclusive by-invitation-only party where all the party people with gather and enjoy the most epic party of the year. What’s interesting is that the venue will not be revealed until you arrive at the destination.
This years Carlsberg’s Where’s The Party was done at… drum roll please. Penang, the island of pearls! With its relaxing beaches and beautiful environment, Penang was the perfect venue for this years party. The event was completely mind blowing as the partygoers enjoyed the blasting music, marathon games and not to forget the ice cold Carlsberg beer.
This is Carlsberg’s third time organizing the massive party and this is the first time that Hong Kong and Singapore were joined together with the Malaysians. 1,200 party guests were having their time of their lives as they were pumping their fists at the Hard Rock Hotel’s beachfront.
Queensbay Mall was the meeting spot before boarding to the respective buses to the hotel. The exclusive guests were welcomes by a crew of beautiful hostesses and talented percussionists. There was beach volley ball, a tug-of-war zone and a limbo-rock to pump up the event. Twilight Action Girl and DJ Nikki put up a great show with their energetic beats.
The night kicked off with Soren Ravn, Managing Director of Carlsberg Malaysia, jet-skiing into the party zone followed by a beat boxing battle between Shawn Lee and Star Rapper. Joey G and Patricia K were the hosts for the night and the party has now begun.
It was a pretty great lineup as Mad August a.k.a Crossfire made the crowd jumping for more, Rubberband with with no-frills Cantopop tunes and the sexy Love Cubic K-Pop girls with seductive moves. DJ Inquisitive gave a quite explosion as the party people danced to his Dubstep and electro house tempos.
R&B and hip-hop diva, Kelis brought her milkshake to the yard accompanied with some amazing instrumental into the mix, the partygoers were literally asking for more. Next on the lineup is DJ Norman Doray with his electro house and DJ Mayumi who closed the show with an excellent hip-hop tones that made everyone swinging.
