Are you beginning to feel the weight on your shoulders, and all that pressure is beginning to drain you out from getting any work done? Avoid hitting rock-bottom and learn to stay energized naturally with these few simple steps!

1. Creating a time schedule can help you organize your time well, which will help you plan your activities from work, studying to quality time with friends and family. Make it as elaborate as possible, and invest in organizer boards or sheets, putting them up on your workspace or anywhere that is visible.

2. Getting some exercise may seem like the last thing you want to do when you’re pressed for time and lethargic, but it will be the best cure for fatigue and will prevent yo from burning out. Exercise will regulate the release of your mood-enhancing chemicals like dopamine and serotonin. If you’re working a late night, and don’t have the time to head to the gym, utilize the existence of the staircase in your house or apartment for 5 to 10 minutes, or get a try some light exercises like jumping jacks and squat thrusts.

3. Learning to improve yourself can do some good by changing your perspective positively. We’re not talking about therapy, but trying to improve your attitude. If you know you’re stubborn, seek help on changing that. It won’t cost a lot of money, because it’s simply a matter of doing the opposite. You’ll feel impressed with yourself and realize that you can handle a lot more than you think!

4. Consuming the right foods is a no-brainer when it comes to healthy living; and all that starts with the right diet. Carbohydrates is the rightful source of energy, but too much can reverse the effects, making you sleepy. Avoid having large meals in the day, instead have five to six small meals a day where there’s a balance of carbohydrates and protein. Stay hydrated with lots of water, vegetables and fruit, and trade your soft drinks for a glass of sparkling water with a lemon slice and tablespoon of honey.

5. Getting at least 7 to 8 hours of sleep is crucial for the mind and body to stay energized. So find a way to get the right amount of sleep that is right for your body clock. The best way is to sleep as early as you’re comfortable and you’ll notice how you’ll wake up easily. Read up on our tips for better sleep.

6. Meditating will do you some good, especially when you’re mind is so filled and you’ve got your head on the desk. Prevent a burnout by taking 15 minutes of your time daily, to lie back, with an audio meditative aid that will take you step by step into  state of relaxation. Your mind will feel absolutely clear and you will probably be able to take on more work!
