The multi-award winning musical tells the true life story the group, Four Seasons and it will be about how four kids who were poor and who came from different sides of the world made it in the pop music industry. Despite going through a hard time, they still made it in the 60’s and they wrote their own songs, invented their own sounds and sold 175 million records globally before they reached the age of 30! Today, their songs have been re-used by many famous pop artists around the world.
According to the Managing Director of BASE Entertainment Asia,Milan Rokic, “Singapore will be the first Asian city to experience this powerful piece of international theater with extraordinary music and a real life story line.”
They begun rehearsing in Johannesburg and the opening of their show will be held in Marina Bay Sands before they return to South Africa, followed by seasons in Cape Town and other future Asian territories.
JERSEY BOYS is written by Academy Award-Winner, Marshall Brickman & Rick Elica with music by Bob Gaudio and is directed by two-time Tony Award winner, Des McAnuff.
