Monkey see monkey do; a phrase which was taught to us ever since young so that we can mind our launguages and behaviour in front of the younger ones right?
Besides just controlling our actions, a better way to teach our youngers ones the proper way to do things would be by letting them have first hand experience in something.
This was the main objective of the Green Dream which was held on Sunday by Pavilion Kuala Lumpur.
In conjunction with Earth Day, the Junior members of Pavilion Kuala Lumpur had a chance to get together and was exposed to the importance of caring for the environment while having loads of fun.
“Environmental consciousness is an essential message to learn and we always look for new, enjoyable ways to demonstrate this to the younger ones of Pavilion Kuala Lumpur” said the Marketing Director of Pavilion Kuala Lumpur.
Different activities were held during this weekend and one of the most exciting activities which the students enjoyed most was the 8 Different Endangered Species” dance after which they were taken through a mini workshop which taught them even more about endangered species in the country.
Besides that a backdrop with different recyclable items was also created to show their support towards saving mother earth. An environment pledge was also made when these kids wrote in their requests to stop the authorities from issuing permits to chop down tress through out the country.
If these kids took this opportunity to show their support towards Earth Day, how much have you done to show your support towards this campaign? Remember monkey see monkey do.
