The first day of the weekend, which we generally hope would be simple and enjoyable, would be the ideal time to indulge in and appreciate life with friends and family.
And there’s nothing better with which to bond with loved ones than a quick and simple brunch. But the only problem with brunch is finding the right place to settle down in for a few hours. You’re either facing a huge post-pandemic crowd or not-so-delectable food and beverages, both of which would dull your brunch experience.
Enter W Kuala Lumpur, which has unveiled The Social Table – the first ever Saturday brunch at Flock, to which guests can flock and enjoy delectable Pan-Asian cuisines, while relaxing in the calm and immaculate ambience of the restaurant.
Consider the most gorgeous restaurant in the world, along with the best food, the most creative beverages, and top-notch service. The table is a gathering spot for everyone to converse, laugh, and escape reality for a few hours. The Social Table at W Kuala Lumpur will take this experience to the next level by offering innovative dishes, stunning settings, and first-class service.
The Social Table concept is very simple: on the first Saturday of each month, from 12 noon to 3pm, guests may completely indulge in a semi-buffet concept: the main course must be chosen, but the appetizers and desserts are all for the taking.
The Social Table will also promote culinary partnerships, presenting collaborative meals from Malaysia’s finest chefs and local businesses, that will result in miraculous results as ideas are exchanged, skills are blended, and ingredients from other cultures are mixed in inventive ways.
The first inaugural The Social Table, held on May 14th, featured a collaboration between the crews at Flock and Willow Kuala Lumpur, led by Chef Lroy Lim, a Penang native who has been trained all over the world and is one of the youngest chefs to burst into the culinary realm. During the brunch, he was joined by the Flock’s executive chef, Chef Suhaimi, who co-devised a menu consisting of their best signature dishes that instantly melt on your tongue and fill your taste profile with plenty of delicious flavours.
Don’t worry if you missed this month’s edition of The Social Table! From June 2022 onwards, the Saturday Brunch will be held every first Saturday of the month, with Flock dishing up a variety of mouthwatering cuisine. The next The Social Table will be held on June 4, 2022, and will feature Executive Chef Mattia Salussoglia of The Ritz-Carlton, Langkawi!
