Over many long years, fantasy epic Game of Thrones fast became a cultural phenomenon that is a force to be reckoned with. The blockbuster HBO television series, with its book that first came out in 1994 to be exact, is now in its seventh season and a new ravenously anticipated trailer has just been released.
HBO just dropped a one-and-a-half minutes trailer for Season 7 which, surprise surprise, doesn’t contain any spoilers as it doesn’t air actual scenes, and yet still is driving GOT fans into a frenzy. It teases Jon Snow, Cersei Lannister, and the mother of dragons Daenerys Targaryen taking a walk to their thrones.
Jon Snow is seen strolling through the halls of Winterfell to take his place as the King of the North, while Lannister glides onto the Iron Throne. What really got the fans’ attention though is that Targaryen is shown heading towards a new throne that hasn’t been revealed yet in the history of GOT.
The Season 7 of Game of Thrones is set to be released on July 16 this year.
