A new adventure has arrived for whisky lovers in KL!
Auchentoshan (pronounced ow-ken-tow-shen) will be taking over W.I.P Bangsar for two weeks beginning July 21, 2016. The venue will present a pop-up Taste Experiment Bar dubbed “The New Malt Order”, allowing patrons an exciting way to customize their experience with the signature flavours of Auchentoshan.
From the 12 years, 18 years, and the Three-Wood, Auchentoshan is smooth, gutsy, and secure enough to be enjoyed on the rocks or mixed into a cocktail. We got to try the “Nutty” cocktail, which was inspired by a blend of local tastes, including gula melaka and passion fruit. You can also choose the “Fruity”, “Spicy” or “Citrus” cocktail, they’re all highly recommended!
Guest Chef Christopher Yee presented a creative spin on pairing canapes with Auchentoshan, to bring out the delicate flavours of each expression. Together with Auchentoshan brand ambassador Jamey Merkel, they walked us through the pairing process.
Already a popular venue for whisky drinkers, W.I.P which shares a similar vision with Auchentoshan, to express an alternative experience for patrons and initiate a new way of enjoying whisky.
